RES Baltic Group is a team of experienced and qualified engineers, developers, technicians, analysts, specialists in electricity trading and corporate finances, lawyers and specialists in environmental protection, who have professional knowledge connected with power engineering, project development, construction, energy market regulation, project management and project development for photovoltaic and wind farms.

RES Baltic Group was established as a combination of experience of a few companies operating in the industry of development of big photovoltaic and wind projects, functioning on the Polish market since 2008. The purpose of combining experiences and qualifications of the teams is to increase the area of the group operation in regard to the carried out RES investments, planned to be connected within 3 years.

The detailed purpose of the group operation in Poland, now and in a few years, is to prepare, construct and hand over for operation photovoltaic power plants and wind power plants with a total power of 5 GW of the installed capacity, which will allow to significantly reduce CO2 emission and will have a real impact on the improvement of environmental conditions. Designing, construction and then operation of the completed photovoltaic power plants in accordance with our mission will also influence the economic development of the country, as this process will involve a lot of employees and subcontracting companies from different sectors and regions, often because of the location of investments, also the less developed ones.

The Group is currently developing RES projects with a total planned connection power of more than 1,6GW.

RES Baltic Group contains design companies: RES Baltic Wind and RES Baltic Solar. ​

RES Baltic Wind is a design company established to coordinate the activities and advanced design works connected with development and construction of wind farms in Opole Province in the area of 8 communes, with a total planned connection power of 711MW. RES Baltic Wind and its team of specialists in the field of wind power support the activities of the company Energia Przykona, which owns wind projects in Opole Silesia. The project foresees wind turbines with the power from 2,5MW to 5MW and the total height from 190 m to 250m. The completion of the design phase is planned for 2022. The investment will provide the generative power of 711 MW, which means production of electrical energy at the level of about 2,4 TWh a year, so it will become the biggest generative source consolidated in one area in Poland and one of the greatest sources like that in Europe. The investment will allow to supply green energy to the biggest industrial plants in the south of Poland and will considerably influence the CO2 reduction.

The mission of RES Baltic Wind is also to obtain further areas for investments connected with wind power in Poland. Currently, we are auditing numerous potential locations for next wind projects in Poland.  

RES Baltic Solar is a design company established to coordinate activities and advanced design works connected with development and construction of photovoltaic farms in the area of West Pomerania Province and Łódź Province, with a total planned connection power of 950MW. RES Baltic Solar and its team of specialists in the field of solar power support the activities of the companiesestablished for special purposes, which own photovoltaic projects in the central and north-western Poland. The prepared investment in West Pomerania Province with a total power of 800 MW will be located in the area of more than 1000 ha. The completion of the design phase and obtaining a status of readiness for construction are planned for 2022. The investments will provide 950 MW of generative power, which means production of solar energy at the level of about 1 TWh a year, so it will become the biggest generative source consolidated in one area in Poland and one of the greatest sources like that in Europe. The investment will allow to supply green energy to the biggest industrial plants in the area of the carried out investments and will considerably influence the CO2 reduction.

The mission of RES Baltic Solar is also to obtain further large-format areas for investments connected with solar power in Poland. Currently, we are auditing numerous potential locations for next photovoltaic projects in Poland.  

In 2020, as a portfolio company of RES Baltic Group, Energia Przykona carried out a project of a photovoltaic power plant with a total power of 600 MW in Greater Poland Province (Projekt Przykona). It is the first such a big installation in Central Europe and one of the biggest ones on the old continent. The investment will provide 600 MW of generative power, which means production of electrical energy at the level of 630 GWh a year. The construction is planned to take place in the area of Greater Poland, on the land degraded by mining activity. The purpose of the whole investment will be to provide about 3% of energy created by RES in Poland. Due to the generative capacity and the possibility to effectively produce energy during summer, the complex will be very important for the efficiency of the electrical system in the period of higher demand for electricity.

The project of the farm construction will cover the necessary electrotechnical infrastructure and access roads. The created PV farm will become the biggest photovoltaic installation in Central Europe. The company Energia Przykona, which is a member of the bigger group – RES Baltic Group, is planning other large-format photovoltaic projects, also in other regions of Poland.

The project of the photovoltaic power plants of Energia Przykona will significantly support the implementation of accession obligations of Poland within the Energy Policy of Poland by 2030. It will also have a big impact on achieving the goals of the Europe 2020 Strategy.

The project will have a lot of positive consequences for the province, commune and the whole local community, not only because of income from taxes.
